A black and white pet rabbit is being looked after by Mr Emms of Lambert Road after a passer-by saw it wandering along the street near his home at around 8pm last Sunday.

He said the tame rabbit, believed to be a male, is clearly a pet and is urging its owners to contact him on 403838 or 07986 998248 so that it can be returned safely to its home.

BEIJING (Xinhua) -- The Republic of Korea (ROK) has formally approved imports of rabbit meat from China, said the countrys quality supervisor here on Wednesday.

The two countries have agreed on sanitary conditions and certificate contents for the exports, said the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (GAQSIQ).

China produced about 620,000 tons of rabbit meat in 2007 and exported 3 percent of the total to the European Union and Russia.
