Waters said he has already had to investigate one significant accident on the lake this spring, an crash between two boats near the Rabbit Cove Marina in which a pleasure craft with two people struck a fishing boat which had five people. The Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce, which hosts Rabbit Fest, is hoping to put the spotlight back on the events namesake with a youth rabbit show for those 19 and younger at the civic center Saturday and Sunday.
