There was our trip to Florida and the visits to Sea World, Disney World, and Circus World where our girls rode on an elephant. We visited Meramec Caverns. There was Rusty Rabbit, acquired at a county fair at the urging of Susan and Laura against my better judgment.
And how wonderful it is that they actually ask to go to "grandma and grandpas house" where they can share the excitement of their latest experience at school, something new they have done, or a work of art they created with pen and crayons.

The remaining 69 cats, two rats and two rabbits will remain under seizure on the property, Sampson said. That means the animals will be under the care of the Humane Society pending a court date.
Seventeen cats were rescued from the property after they were found suffering from a variety of ailments. Those animals were taken to the Inland Valley Humane Society for medical care, Sampson said.
